This week's HDH is a blast from my past and I'm guessing a blast from a lot of YOUR pasts as well.
My preteen years AND my teenage years were all about music.
As a preteen it was ALL ABOUT POISON. 100% POISON.
I knew every word to every song. I had every album. I made up actual dance routines to all their songs with my childhood best friend.
.
Okay, you can stop laughing now lol.
I thought they were SO DAMN HOT. Especially BRET (top left blonde for those who weren't infected with Poison). I mean OMG about BRET, like for sure LOL.
My bedroom was PLASTERED with Poison posters. My Poison posters was my WALLPAPER.
Now I look back and just laugh, WHAT THE HELL was I thinking?! Seriously?!
The make up! The hair! The clothes! BAD BAD BAD!
WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
My teenage years I discovered country music, thanks to my first boyfriend and Garth Brooks. I HATED it prior to my teenage years. He made me fall in love with Garth. And boy was I. My first boyfriend even looked like Garth. He played in a really popular local country band too, boy was I in trouble. Yeah, I was madly in love with BOTH or at least I thought I was lol.
Once the Poison posters came down, it was ALL ABOUT GARTH.
Once again I knew every word to every song. I had every album. And he was all over my bedroom. The posters I had, WOW.
I still have a thing for him actually. Only thankfully the Garth posters are no more. I'm sure my husband appreciates that fact. lol.
I am still waiting to see him in concert. I have seen everyone but him practically and that I DON'T like.
Trisha and Garth together at last. I always knew they had it for one another, even when he was married.
From Hard Rock to country and now I just like everything.
So tell me who was all over your bedroom walls?! If it wasn't Poison or Garth, who was it?! If it was Poison and/or Garth, tell me that too!
Let's have some fun with this!
Happy Hump Day!
PS I am still having trouble with my email. I can receive just fine it appears but the verdict is still out on whether or not I can send out email right now. Thank you for your emails and for your patience!
