Ok, so I know lately this ol' blog of mine has been pretty much ALL about Haley, that happens with a new baby. BUT believe it or not Nathan and Austin DO still live with us *grin* Not only do they live with us but they're actually HAPPY and loved little members of our family *grin*
Last week we received a FOOT of snow, today it was finally warm enough and the perfect day to get the boys outside to play in it before it melts.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the day -

Austin having a TOTAL BLAST throwing snowballs at Daddy -
And again -
Kevin contemplating his next snowman making move -
(Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE a man in Carhartt?! Oh yeah baby. Too bad it hasn't been six weeks yet lol, not to mention the fact that we have a baby who doesn't sleep at night. At all. Hell right now Kevin and I can't even share our bedroom. I miss just laying next to him. This too shall pass. This too shall pass)
Cutie Austin
Happy Austin
Happy Nay Nay
The boys helping Daddy with the snowman -
(Kevin is seriously THE BEST DADDY IN THE WORLD. He just is. SO HANDS ON and natural it's not even funny. He played in the snow with the boys even though he was DOG ASS TIRED. We both got maybe a couple hours of sleep the night before)
The boys posing with their snowman, it was IMPOSSIBLE to get them both looking at the camera lol -
The Snowman -
(We had no damn carrots ha ha. Daddy had a really cool cord for the mouth though)
I was really bummed that I couldn't get outside with the boys. Normally I am deep in the snow with Kevin and the boys but obviously it was a little too cold for a newborn. I did come up with a solution though, I AM a proud mom after all! I decided to have Haley and I in the house with the kitchen window wide OPEN (don't worry, it was a mild winter day, Haley was plenty warm enough) so I could at least SEE and HEAR the boys playing in the snow for the first time this season. I wasn't about to miss out. NO WAY.
So here is a picture of Haley and I in the kitchen lol -
Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do!
Oh I almost forgot to mention, the pictures aren't the greatest I know but considering most of them were taken from INSIDE the house, I think they turned out pretty damn good.
Happy Weekend!
PS Anyone else into Carhartt wearing men?! *grin*
PPS Now that snow playing is crossed off our list, now we just have to host a birthday party tomorrow night for Austin's 3rd birthday, start Christmas shopping - OMG!!!!!, visit Santa in the mall, go see the Avenue of lights and homes with Christmas lights, and last but certainly not least, we still have to put our Christmas tree UP! Man oh man it's been crazy insane busy around here lately. Life with a newborn you know lol.
(((( Thank you!!!! )))))

Boy, how I miss the snow of the midwest!! Am very envious looking at all these precious pictures of kids playing in the white stuff.
At least you got to see them having a blast, right?
And Austin...turning 3? How is that possible?

AC is going to be a year old at the end of the month and is still monopolizing the camera time. I think that's just how it goes :)
Looks like the boys had such a great time. Yay for active dads! I did a lot of the watching from inside too. Sometimes its fun to be a spectator.

I'm with Janis! I don't do the snow so much, daddy gets antsy in the house and is happy to take them out in it. I watch from the window and help them get warm and cozy when they come in...Perfect title! I remember that with a newborn, you get so tied down. Thanks for the many updates...

That looks like fun!!! Just keep the snow up your way :)....Unlike you, I am not the one out there playing...well maybe for a good snowball fight , but that's about it...I'm the one in the house making cookies and hot chocolate for after the snow :))

The boys look like they had SO much fun!! Just imagine next year when Miss Haley is playing in the snow too. Kevin - you rock, snowman building on just a few snippets of sleep!
Have a wonderful party Austin - thinking of you sweetie x
