It has been an amazing and beautiful month with Haley AND for Haley.
SO amazing and beautiful.
She is our ray of sunshine.
She is an amazingly happy baby. She smiles and smiles and smiles all of the time. I don't recall ever meeting or knowing a happier baby. EVER. She lights up a room. Her beauty and happiness takes my breath away, every single day.
She is such a part of our family that we don't know how we ever lived without her.
Her name means "Hero" and that is exactly what she has been to us all.
Ironically the night of my birthday is when things really started to get easier and better with Haley. Once she finally stopped the whole chair sleeping thing, everything changed for her and us. It is amazing to sleep in a bed again. And next to my husband!!!!!!!!!!! So wonderful. The first 2.5 months were so hard. Beautiful, hard, and a TOTAL blur.
It's been a big month of milestones for Little Miss Haley. On the first she slept through the night for the first time. She slept from 10:30 - 5. We were shocked. Of course that was kind of a one time wonder but we are still very pleased with her sleeping habits right now.
We heard her first REAL laugh on the 8th. I was saying "Boo" to her over and over again and it finally got her. I keep trying to get her laugh recorded but the little booger hasn't cooperated with that.
On the 12th she rolled over from her tummy to on her back in her sleep and boy did it make her MAD. LOL. We had to help her get back to sleep on her tummy.
On the 24th she finally rolled from her back to her tummy. Of course we both missed it. I was in the bathroom going pee and Kevin was doing something right at the moment with the boys. I keep trying to get her rolling over recorded too but she isn't helping me with that ha ha.
She is now using her hands a lot more. It is SOOO cute and sweet to watch her amazement that she HAS HANDS!!!!!!!!!! THAT DO THINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG it is SOOOOO sweet.
Check out Haley HERE, she was featured on Blogging Baby!
She is so funny and cute, she just warms my heart and soul so very much. Sometimes when she is in her swing, she tries to get on her tummy in that thing, LOL. It is SO funny to watch. While she is trying to get on her tummy, she will usually suck on the swing material while she is working on turning over. LOL. It cracks me up! Of course the poor little thing doesn't ever accomplish her mission.
She loves to fly like "Super Baby".
She doesn't know a stranger, she loves everyone and she is always smiling at people. It is SO sweet.
She is a bit time talker. Her coos are just SOOOOOO incredible. Oh my.....they melt your heart. And her squeals of delight are out of this world. She even sounds like a GIRL! Totally foreign to me since I am used to boy noises. ha ha!
She loves getting her belly rubbed, along with her face and head.
She loves to dance on laps and standing up, assisted of course.
She loves it when Daddy sings to her every night.
She still loves the "nose lip lip chin cheek cheek" thing we do with all of our babies.
She loves to hold and suck on her burpie, just like the boys did.
Occasionally when she is real hungry she will suck on her hand or fingers.
The pacifier isn't something she must have, occasionally she will suck on one.
She still continues to enjoy her swing, gym toys, exersaucer, bouncer, and she loves to lay on the floor with us.
She is still taking 4 ounces every 1-3 hours during the day. We will be starting her on cereal very soon.
She sleeps very very little during the day, that makes it so hard to keep up with stuff.
At night she will normally go to bed around 9 or 10 and wake up usually around 3 or 4 to eat. Sometimes it takes her forever to go back to sleep but if she does she will wake up for day anywhere between 6 and 8.
She sleeps better at night than the boys ever did. It took them a year or two to sleep like she is already doing. I think its mostly cause she doesn't sleep during the day, probably way too loud in here with the crazy boys.
She is wearing 3 - 6 months still and weighs about 18 pounds, give or take.
The poor little thing still has and ALWAYS has nose issues. Meaning her nose is constantly full and mommy is always using the nose syringe on her. She hates that thing SO MUCH and she HATES getting her nails cut.
She is a spitting image of me as a baby. It is so bizarre and SO amazing to look into her eyes and see myself. So incredible. She has a little bit of Nathan in her but mostly she looks just like me. Of course I love it because Nathan looks just like Kevin and Austin looks like my mom.
It is so amazing how things change. The first two months were SO hard with the chair sleeping and her issues, we were in a hurry for her to walk and talk.
Now we want her to slow down. She is so delightful right now, we want time to slow down.
Can you believe Haley will be 4 months old in a few days?!!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes me so sad to even think about.
It has gone entirely way too fast for my liking.
So there you have it, like I said it has been an amazing beautiful month with Haley. Hard at times but so so wonderful.
I still can't fully believe I had 3 kids in 4.5 years.
It is crazy and hard at times, MOST of the time, but we are living our dream right now. Well you know minus a bigger home and being debt free. We are very blessed and we feel 100% complete.
I better end for now, getting too hard with one hand.
I hope I didn't forget anything. If so I will add it in later.
Hope all of you are doing well!
My biggest online priority next week is to write a long overdue update on us and the boys.
Tomorrow I am heading to Nebraska for two nights to see VJ again. We haven't seen one another since October. We will be seeing Nickelback in concert and doing other fun girly things. I need this little get away like you wouldn't believe. I am with the kids ALL OF THE TIME, 24/7 and IN THE HOUSE ALL OF THE TIME. I HATE winter.
Anyway, I better really close now, take care and I love you guys!
Slowly but surely I am trying to write on my blog more.
Thanks for sticking by me!
