Ohhh my dear blog and blog friends I miss you so much. I want to get back to writing so bad. I miss documenting my life, especially my kiddos lives so much. There's only so much you can write in a Facebook status update ya know.
In the next few days gonna look into getting a new fresh banner and blog look, maybe, just maybe that will help to inspire me.
As you can see from my last post I have a lot going on in my life right now, I would have a lot of blog material for sure.
Besides I just really really miss my blog and the good ol blog circle.
Remember today, for it is the beginning of
always. Today marks the start of a brave new future filled with all
your dreams can hold. Think truly to the future and make those dreams
come true.
These words and photo represent so much to me today as today marks the official end of my 11 year marriage.
I've been needing and wanting to write about the changes in my life for some time now. Changes that are very big and affect many people. Changes that I know I need to put out there sort a speak but at the same time they are so personal that I feel uneasy writing about it online.
As some of you already know Kevin and I are in the process of getting a divorce. It's something most will find shocking, some may feel the need to speculate or gossip, others who are so dear to me, won't do either, they will only love and support me through this difficult time.
The last 2-3 years have been quite the roller coaster for Kevin and I. It took a long time and a lot of tears but we have found that we make better friends than husband and wife.
Divorce is not something we ever in a million years thought would happen to us and yet it is. We remain close friends and will always make an amazing parenting team but husband and wife we are no more.
We love each other enough as friends and parents to our children that we want both of us to be truly happy even if we can no longer do that for one another.
Kevin and I had an amazing 11 years of marriage, have three beautiful children, and we know everything, even the hard stuff, happens for a reason. We know we were always meant to be one another's first soul mates and have our three amazing children. We also know we both have second soul mates that we will spend the rest of our lives with. For that we feel truly blessed to not only have that but to recognize that.
As I mentioned above, Kevin and I remain close friends, both online and in real life. If you reply to this, I ask that you be respectful to both Kevin and I. Anything less than that will not be tolerated.
Change can be very very difficult, but change is sometimes necessary.
"We cannot become what we need to be, remaining what we are"
"I want Barack Obama to win because he let me beat him in bowling"
In case you are highly confused, Nathan had his 6th birthday party last April at our local bowling alley. Once Nathan finished his game of bumper bowling, Daddy said, "You beat Obama Nathan!" Apparently Obama's bowling score had recently been in the news.Obviously Obama had not used bumpers during his bowling game ha ha!
Can you say OMG SOOOOO CUTE?!
Every time he says it, he says it in the most sweet and genuine way.
So um hi. Me again. Gonna try this again because I do NOT want to forget all of the ordinary details of my life that makes it SO extraordinary and beautiful to me.
I pretty much decided I highly doubt I will EVER be able to (want to) catch up by writing an entry about the last year or so....that said SO MANY things happen on a daily basis that I want to blog about....things I want to remember so I am going to allow myself the luxury of NOT writing a huge catch up entry and just blog what I want, when I want.
I don't know if I have ANY readers out there, if so thank you for sticking with me. If not, well you won't see this but I don't blame you one bit. I have been very active on Flickr but not with my blog.
Sooooooo here goes nothing.
My first installment of random stuff that I want to remember.
The other day Nathan proclaimed that Haley was a "snot factory" and that he was a "booger factory". I asked him what Daddy and Austin were. He said Daddy is a "poop factory" and Austin a "clown factory"
LOL
The best part?
He said "Guess what kind of factory you are Mommy?"
